How To Turn Off Safe Mode On Android Phone (2025)
Restart the Phone (Most Common)
Access the Power Menu:
Press and hold the Power/Side button (usually on the right side of the phone) for 2–3 seconds until the power options appear.
On Samsung: This brings up options like Power Off, Restart, and Emergency Mode.
On Honor: You’ll see Power Off, Restart, or Airplane Mode.
Select Restart:
Tap Restart (or Reboot on some devices).
If Restart isn’t available, tap Power Off, wait 10 seconds, then press the Power/Side button to turn the phone back on.
Wait for Reboot:
The phone will restart in normal mode in about 10–30 seconds. Check that the Safe Mode watermark (usually in the bottom-left corner) is gone.
Time: ~20–30 seconds.
Method 2: Use the Notification Panel (If Available)
Swipe Down Notification Panel:
Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the notification shade. Swipe again if needed to expand it.
Tap Safe Mode Notification:
Look for a notification that says Safe Mode is On or Turn Off Safe Mode.
Tap it, then select Turn Off or Restart when prompted.
Wait for Reboot:
The phone will restart in normal mode. Confirm the Safe Mode watermark is no longer visible.
Time: ~15–20 seconds.
