Turn On Secure Folder on Samsung Phone
Step 1: Check for Secure Folder
Look for the App:
Open the App Drawer or Home Screen and check for the Secure Folder app (icon: a folder with a lock).
If not found, it may need to be enabled or downloaded.
Verify Availability:
Go to Settings - Biometrics and Security (or Security and Privacy).
Look for Secure Folder. If it’s not listed, proceed to enable it.
Step 2: Enable Secure Folder
Open Settings:
Go to Settings - Biometrics and Security- Secure Folder.
Sign In to Samsung Account:
Tap Secure Folder and sign in with your Samsung Account (or create one if you don’t have it).
Agree to the terms and conditions.
Set Up Secure Lock:
Choose a lock type for Secure Folder (e.g., PIN, Password, Pattern, Fingerprint, or Face Recognition).
Enter and confirm your chosen lock (different from your phone’s lock screen for added security).
Note: Biometrics (fingerprint/face) require a backup PIN, password, or pattern.
Complete Setup:
Secure Folder will create an encrypted space on your phone.
The Secure Folder app will appear in your App Drawer or Home Screen.
