4To view your PS5 screenshots using the PlayStation App on your phone, follow these steps:
Open the PlayStation App:
Launch the PlayStation App on your iOS (14.0 or later) or Android (8.0 or later) device. Sign in with the same PlayStation Network (PSN) account linked to your PS5.
Access the Capture Gallery:
From the app’s home screen (Play tab), tap the Game Library icon (controller icon) at the bottom.
Select Captures or Capture Gallery (label may vary by app version). This section displays all screenshots and video clips captured on your PS5.
View Screenshots:
Browse the captures, which are organized by game or date. Screenshots are marked with a still image icon (distinct from video clips).
Tap a screenshot to view it in full screen.
To download a screenshot to your phone, tap the Download or share icon, then save it to your device’s gallery or share it via messaging apps, social media, or email.
To delete a screenshot, select it, tap the Trash icon, and confirm. This removes it from both the app and your PS5.
Ensure Auto-Upload is Enabled:
For screenshots to appear in the app, auto-upload must be enabled on your PS5:
On your PS5, go to Settings - Captures and Broadcasts - Captures - Auto-Upload and turn it on.
Ensure your PS5 is in rest mode with Stay Connected to the Internet enabled (PS5 Settings - System- Power Saving -Features Available in Rest Mode).
Only screenshots taken after enabling auto-upload will sync to the app (up to 100MB per file).
