How to Connect Remote Back to Google TV Streamer (Fast Method)
0To reconnect your Google TV Streamer Voice Remote to your Google TV Streamer, follow these steps:
Ensure Remote is Ready:
Verify that the remote has fresh batteries (correctly inserted) and is within 20 feet of the Google TV Streamer.
Make sure the streamer is powered on and connected to your TV with the correct HDMI input selected.
Initiate Pairing Mode on the Remote:
Press and hold the Back and Home buttons on the remote simultaneously for about 3 seconds.
The LED on the remote should start blinking, indicating it’s in pairing mode.
Put the Google TV Streamer in Pairing Mode:
If the remote doesn’t connect automatically, press the reset button on the back of the Google TV Streamer device for 1 second (use a paperclip or similar tool). This puts the streamer in pairing mode.
Alternatively, navigate to Settings - Remotes & Accessories - Pair remote or accessory on your TV screen using the Google TV mobile app as a temporary remote.
Complete Pairing:
