The Intellivision Amico saga continues! I recently dug into the latest email update, and it turns out the games are being re-released as limited collector's boxed editions! That's right, Intellivision Amico Physical Games Releases Are BACK?! BUT WHY??

I'm talking about Finnegan Fox, Evil Knevel, Moon Patrol, and Missile Command, now available again as physical items. For those who followed the console's dramatic journey (remember my 4-hour chat with Tommy Tallarico and ‪@LifeWithMatthew‬ years ago?), this is a wild turn!

🧐 The BIG Reveal & The BIGGER Questions
The "new home" for these physical Amico games is none other than the Blue Sky Ranger Shop... which is an eBay store. Yep, you read that right.

The titles are now available as singles—beautifully boxed physical editions for "gaming enthusiasts." The current pricing? Individual games like Finnegan Fox are listed for $24.95 each, plus a steep $10.45 for delivery! Over $35 for a single game for a system that HAS NEVER SHIPPED!

The Million Dollar Question: What do they play on?
The Amico console itself never officially launched, and its future remains highly uncertain. While some of the software (like Finnegan Fox) has appeared on other platforms like the Nintendo Switch, the physical boxes are described as "game download tokens."

I'm left asking: What system are these physical "game download token things" actually for? It can't be the Amico. This feels like a desperate final effort to generate revenue, and honestly, it just doesn't sit right with me.

We need to talk about this!
What are your thoughts on this bizarre re-release strategy? Do you think these boxed editions have any real collector value? Would you pay $35+ for a piece of the Amico's history with an ambiguous future?

Let me know your thoughts on this strange chapter in gaming history down in the comments! 👇
