We are back with more Kerbal Space Program, trying to finish up this career mode game before KSP 1.0 comes out.

We start off back as KSC, and take a new contract for temperature readings on Minmus. Since we are already there, This should be doable.

Back on Minmus, we perform a small hop to another area where we need to do a seismic scan. After we collect that data, we then hop over to the final are for a seismic scan for this contract. We perform that hop, we we land on a bit more of a slope, but we touchdown without issue and take the needed readings.

Now with the one seismic scan contract done, we have the other seismic scan and the temperature readings contracts to complete. The temperature scans are easier to get to, with them being near the equator and on some flats, as well as being in the sunlight more currently, so we decide to go for them first. However, on of the locations is an in flight location away from the others, so we head for that first.

The in-flight reading is easy to get as the reading needs to be take above 4.1 km. We then plan a maneuver to get us to the sites for the landed readings. We do a small burn so that we won't impact the surface soon, and a few minutes later a larger burn to change our inclination to get over the site we need to land at. Once we are over the landing site, we stop our horizontal velocity and fall to the ice.

We land on the greater flats, and take the temperature reading. We've been here before ( our previous landing site is only about 14 km away), so we don't gather other science. We then hop to the second site and take a reading there. Finally we hop to the final temperature reading site, which is just off the edge of the flat, and take a reading there.

With the temperature reading contract done, we head for the location for the other seismic scan. We lift off and perform a burn in the direction of the site, and then coast over there. We stop our horizontal velocity one we are over the area, and fall back to the surface. We drift off the site a bit, but we make a correction, and get over the site again.

We land and take some initial readings. We get the scan done, and fine that we are in lowlands, a biome that we haven't been in yet. So we gather all the science that we can. Once that is done, we do a hop to another site. We note that two of the sites are close together, and so we attempt to land between then, so the reading counts for both. We do successfully land between them, and get a reading that counts for both!. We still have about 1/2 our fuel left.

The episode is running a bit long, so we stop there, and focus back on KSC. We find that we are at 2.8 million funds, so we only need about 300k funds to upgrade the R&D center. We check out the contracts available, but none are for Minmus. We head into the R&D center, and spend all the science that we can, and this results in all the tech except the last level being unlocked, with us having 2140 science left, which leaves us with needing about 1900 science to unlock everything after we upgrade the R&D center.
