I'm back, continuing my Kerbal Space Program 1.0 Career mode game. this time we attempt to not only leave the atmosphere, but also to get into orbit!

We start off unlocking two more items in the tech tree, and upgrading the launch pad so we increase the rocket weight limit from 18 tons to 140 tons. We then go into Mission Control and take the Orbit Kerbin contract.

I then show off the rocket we will use, that consists of 5 solid boosters in two stages, a liquid stage with a swivel engine, and a return stage the a capsule, a material's bay and a service bay with two goo canisters, and 3 parachutes on the capsule.

We do that mission, and land on the grasslands, but we don't have and available science devices to get science from the grasslands. So we then decide to do a quick mission to get science from the grasslands. We also take two contract to test separators on this flight. The rocket consists of a single solid booster on top of the Rockomax Decoupler we need to test on the pad. We have a swivel engine with two tanks on top of the solid booster, with a TR-18A decoupler that needs to be tested as well. The return stage has three parachutes, two goo canisters, and a materials bay, so we can get science from the grasslands just by heading west.
