KOF Maximum Impact Regulation A, Playthrough & Intro on PS2 includes hidden fight, 1CC no lost!
6Full gameplay, longplay, playthrough, walkthrough, guide and trueplay of Arcade mode from The King of Fighters Maximum Impact Regulation "A" on PlayStation 2. This run was done with Terry Bogard, Billy Kane & Iori Yagami. This was a Japanese exclusive release and the third entry into the 3D KOF Maximum Impact series. Regulation A was an arcade release with a number of gameplay improvements and balance changes from Maximum Impact 2. The big change is that where as the first two games were one on one matches only, Regulation "A" restores the classic three on three match format the king of fighters series is known for.
The other addition is four new characters with Ash Crimson & Blue Mary making their first Maximum Impact appearance a new character called Xiao Lon and a guest character from Fighter's History Makoto Mizoguchi, the latter also acts as a hidden 9th boss fight. All the characters from Maximum Impact 2 apart from Armor Ralf (An enhanced version of Ralf Jones) who was removed due to being overpowered the character had super armour that gave him a massive advantage.
This is a raw arcade port, so features very little in the way of modes, outside of time attack, which is the arcade ladder with no story or cutscenes, it only offers, practice and offline & online versus matches, no extras either. The ladder features eight fights with the last one being a boss fight against Nightmare Geese, Duke & Jivatma. If you can beat the game in under 12 minute then the character that won the boss battle will have a one on one bonus fighter against Makoto Mizoguchi. The best of the three Maximum Impact titles but still not a perfect game, never released outside of Japan which suggest it wasn't that successful as it was also the last game in this spin off series.
