Alice Dreams Tournament - Dreamcast - Intro & Match Gameplay, Indie Bomberman clone [4K60]
10A gameplay look at one of the few Hudson Soft Bomberman style clones with Alice Dreams Tournament, which received a reprint recently thanks to WAVE Games Studios. With Bomberman Online only getting a North American SEGA Dreamcast, most system owner missed out on this classic party blast'em up.
Alice Dreams Tournament from Patbier & Poche, borrows the classic Bomberman versus format while adding in its own selection of modes. While there isn't a single player story mode, there is a high score mode where you compete against the clock to beat as many enemies as possible, increasing your score further via combo chain. At the end of it you get a code to register on the official website.
Secondly you get three tournaments of 3, 5 & 7 game matches, with each round using a different game mode. There's also the multiplayer mode which allows 1 - 4 players to play on a single map or mode, picking the various gameplay settings and conditions.
Some of the original modes include Colours, A take on Splatoon with you trying to paint as much of the screen as possible. Brain Battle, a rather interesting stage which has you solving maths puzzles as you avoid bombs blasts to win. Bodyguard, which splits you into two teams, one has a bodyguard and target to protect the other team has to take down the target. Hide & Seek, takes advantage of the special VMU feature which allows the game to be played on the tiny screen in order to hide from the other players, winner is the one who survives the longest.
