Ninja JaJaMaru: The Great Yokai Battle +Hell Deluxe Edition on PlayStation 4 how does it play? [4K]

Which features the latest game in the series Ninja JaJaMaru: The Great Yokai Battle Plus Hell and a collection of previously released NES, SNES and Game Boy titles as part of the Ninja Retro Collection. The Ninja Kid or Ninja Kun as it's also known in the west, first appeared in 1984 the first game was created by UPL and was released in Arcades, before Jaleco took over the series. Since then the series has appear on a whole host of consoles, but sadly almost all the games in the series have remained in Japan until now.
ININ Games have released three titles in the Ninja JaJaMaru series recently on digital stores Ninja JaJaMaru: The Great Yokai Battle Plus Hell, Ninja JaJaMaru: Retro Collection and Ninja JaJaMaru: The Lost RPGs. The latter two are retro collections of older games. The Deluxe Edition includes The Great Yokai Battle and the Retro Collection at retail. If you want a retail version that includes all three titles then you will need to buy the JaJaMaru: Legendary Ninja Collection from Strictly Limited Games.
Ninja JaJaMaru: The Lost RPGs feature English translations of Ninja JaJaMaru: Ninja Skill Book (1989, NES) & Ninja JajaMaru: The Legend of the Golden Castle (1990, NES) it is not shown in this video.
Ninja JaJaMaru: The Great Yokai Battle Plus Hell is a new modern entry in the series. It's a modern take on the classic arcade platformer, while includes retro styled visuals mixed with modern gameplay and music. The aim is to clear all the enemies on each stage. You unlock characters as you go, so there is plenty to see and do, each stage also has set bonus mission, such as reaching a certain combo level to spawn flower petals, collecting all coins and taking no damage. Which is no mean feat, the more you play the more you unlock as you collect gold coins. If you are up for a challenge there is also a ranking mode.

Highlight from this collection are by far Ninja JaJaMaru: Operation Milky Way on NES and the superb Super Ninja-kid. Also new to this collection is the Game Boy Color version of Ninja JaJaMaru: The Great World Adventure, which was made for it. Previous the Game Boy title had been released in America under the name Maru's Mission
