Last Scenario is a role playing game made in RPGMaker by SCF. A rather typical kind of rpg, but with enough twists and an interesting story to make the journey well worth taking.

The latest version of the game can always be found here:

Did some off screen grinding to pick up four Gelatinous Coats, ten Mole Hunter tiles, and four Mantis tiles. The coats are going to be supremely useful for a future boss fight (and when I get the next tier of attack all water magic).

As for the tiles, the Mole Hunter tiles trade in for a Hard Hat, a helmet that absorbs earth. Should consider getting a few more of these at some point.

The real star pickup though is the trade for the four Mantis tiles, a new spellcard called Unholy. Costs a massive 190 mp, but hits a single target for some extreme dark damage. We're talking close to or over 2000 damage if Lorenza casts it...and that's without hitting a weakness. Its crisis ability is Black Hole costs 90 mp to hit every living soul on the battlefield for damage. That includes your party too. Not the most useful crisis sadly.

The story back at the Rebel Camp is pretty tame at first. The team relays the results of their monster cleaning exercise to Drakovic, he & Matilda have a relaxing chat overnight with both swearing to do everything in their power to reclaim control of Pargon Island, and then...the invasion into Stonewall to drive the Kingdom out.

At first, Drakovic's plan is to have the team sit outside Stonewall's gate and see if Castor decides to simply walk out of town at all. After a couple pointless hours, it's obvious that Drakovic is stalling so the team goes back to the camp to speak to Drakovic...only to find out the reason he sent them out there was to put his plan into motion...leaking out information on the camp's location to the Rosehart Army.

Basically, Drakovic knows the reason Castor was sent back was to specifically get rid of his rebellion army. Considering the Republic is in the Kingdom's hands, there's no other likely explanation. Drakovic's army is going to lure out Castor's crew and, while the town is largely undefended, have Hilbert's team infiltrate, rescue the consul, and possibly kick Castor's behind for good this time.

The whole infiltration mission at Stonewall isn't all that exciting at first. There's soldiers that have to be mowed down, but they go down in a turn if everyone throws out AoE attacks.

Eventually, you'll find a save point in the Council Hall, then more soldiers to the north to destroy. Beyond them will be Castor who will get another ass kicking next time.
