Leader Board (Amiga Arcadia) - A Playguide and Review - by LemonAmiga.com
Leader Board is a Golf game from the 1980's, and pioneered 3D golf games on the 8 bit platforms. The Amiga version was enhanced and released in the arcades, inside the Arcadia cabinet. The game runs on Kickstart 1.3 with a 000 processor, and is meant for an American NTSC 60hz machine. It looks a bit different, so lets check it out.
Production Notes:
===============
Ripped: 21st July 2016 (A1200 and WHD - switched to 60hz NTSC mode)
Narrated: 14th Nov 2017
Edited: 5th - 9th Feb 2018
UPDATE: I took this video down after 233 views and 15 likes if the first upload, as I discovered youtube had totally messed up the sound sync on my video! The version I re-uploaded includes the 808 State music, and I hope you can view it, through all the stupid ads youtube put everywhere, while I cant monetise the video.
UPDATE 2: It looks like some kind of rendering error caused the re-render to be slightly off the centre on the screen, like its all in 4:3. I'm not going to render it again, but such things are really annoying.
-*UPDATE 3*- : Ok, so I bit the bullet and uploaded this again, after 299 views of the second upload. This was to fix the screen centering of this video, which was annoying me.

Some time back late last year, I was in the mood to narrate this game. I'd just come back from a holiday in Spain paid for by my mum, so I was in the spirit for fresh weather and sunny outdoor sports. And it also cheered me up, as the weather is often gloomy in the UK. The footage was taken way back when I ripped the Ninja Mission arcadia game, and I only review this because it seemed a bit different to the Amiga releases most people are aware of. Its not the sexiest game in the world, so I delayed putting this out for as long as possible. Hopefully some fans will enjoy this, although I was getting a bit board myself, as the 1 player mode is rather limited.
To try to increase the fun and hopefully watchability, I added a few speech balloons and also some music. I ran out of things to say about the game half way through, so I used speedBall and pinBall to cover the gaps. I also wanted to include 808 States Pacific 303, but youtube spotted the very very low mix of the song, so I had to remove it. The credits still give credit to the song, in small text. I also found a nice Scottish sounding module, and the rest are from Captain Planet, to give the vid an extra boppy feel.
Yet again I uploaded this to find I still had Intact! in the intro, so I had to take it down today and reupload. Luckily Handbrake managed to compress the 2GB file down to just 150MB, thanks to the lack of movement within the game, so it only took an hour.
No more plans to cover any more Arcadia games. I dont think too many people will watch this, as even the mighty Intact! has been overlooked by most people, but there are still a few big names still to come, including Leander and Shadow of the Beast 2.
