GTA V is the first GTA game to feature 3 playable characters, and switching between each one in real time is an interesting and wonderful mechanic. Switching doesn't really leave the others inactive. In fact, they carry on with random tasks as soon as you switch to a different character. This makes this GTA entry feel the most alive one yet, and I like it.

After the optimization mess that GTA IV was (at least on PC) and the letdown called Watch_Dogs, people were anxious how well the 5th numbered title would run on various setups. The video speaks for itself, and it looks like the transition went quite nicely. The game mostly runs at a favorable framerate. Location, time of day, and viewing angles directly affect this. A couple of graphical sliders also improve performance. If the framerate doesn't live up to your liking, turning the distance scaling would give it a good bump. If that isn't enough, lowering the population density, shadows, reflections, shader quality, and disabling tessellation might help. Personally, I'm fine with these settings, even if it goes below 25 fps at times.

The game runs great and offers so much graphical control, even integrated graphics will probably be able to handle it just fine. These, coupled with the amount of [fun] things to do in the game, it's a must-have.
