Building large scale application is more difficult than many people understand or expect. Join me in this long running series where I set out to duplicate one of the most popular social media platforms ever creating using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, PostgreSQL data, React JS web application framework and more.

In this episode we start working on making the notification page more functional. We start out by setting up a new NotificationHeader component which allows the user to navigate to the different sections of the notifications page. Then we turn our attention to the notifications themselves. We setup a new Notification component which can take in a list of notifications for the user, and children components that way we can use it to create any types of notifications we may want to display.
