Join me in this long running series where I set out to duplicate one of the most popular social media platforms ever creating using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, PostgreSQL data, React JS web application framework and more.
In this episode we start the trying to wrap up the rest of our notifications by setting up the post action notification types. We start out by making a new component to hold the post action notifications in, then create a special component for the text displayed at the top of each notification. Next we make a new function to change the css on the post content to make the text smaller for the post content in the notification, and then we make the component which holds the post content for the notifications.After getting the notification component wrapped up we switch focus to the grouping logic in the NotificationsAll component and completely refactor it to better match twitters system.
