Building large scale application is more difficult than many people understand or expect. Join me in this long running series where I set out to duplicate one of the most popular social media platforms ever creating using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, PostgreSQL data, React JS web application framework and more.

In this episode we continue working on our lists by starting out the logic and pages on the frontend. We first needed to create an interface to model the custom feed object being passed to us. Then we needed a way to actually fetch and keep track of these lists, so we created a new ListsSlice in our redux directory. After we wrapped up creating the ListsSlice we setup the skeleton page for Lists and setup the routing to the page. Finally, we setup skeleton components to display inside of the lists page that simply mapped through the fetched lists and displayed their names so we knew that we were successfully fetching them from the react application.
