Building large scale application is more difficult than many people understand or expect. Join me in this long running series where I set out to duplicate one of the most popular social media platforms ever creating using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, PostgreSQL data, React JS web application framework and more.

In this episode we work on the lists top bar component of the lists page. We start out by updating the lists slice with a new piece of state, and also a new reducer to update any piece of state we want. Then we fill out and style the lists top bar to be more than just a skeleton where we had left it last episode. Once we were happy with the lists top bar we setup and styled a new search bar component to be used inside of the lists top bar. When we are happy with the way the search bar component was looking we finally implemented it into the lists top bar and did our final testing for the episode.
