We’ve been given some time by Phaere to ourselves to do whatever we wish and while it may seem like a lot, it can fly by if you need to do a lot of resting. Terri’s group fortunately doesn’t need to recuperate which means we can finally take time to explore Ust Natha, at least the parts we have access to. Certain areas will only open up when we progress sufficiently through the main quest chain of the chapter but there’s still plenty to see in the places we can get to like the upper levels.

This is also a good time to go out into the main cavern and do anything you haven’t already by this point, which makes me wonder if there’s any differences to some of the quests when you’re disguised as a drow. I imagine the svirfneblin settlement would be a lot more wary of a party of drow entering their midst, though I question whether they’d try and stop us from entering their home. That aside, there’s still three dungeons leading off from the main cavern that we’ll be checking out before we’re done with this chapter. If we’re quick with our tour of the city, we might be able to complete one of them before we’re due to meet up with Phaere again.
