Have you ever been in that situation where one card would turn a match completely on its head? One card that swings the board in your favour, that bursts down the final few points of health your opponent has, that dismantles their carefully assembled combo in one fell swoop? It’s rare that that card arrives when it needs to, often because it’s not a card you put in your deck, if you even can. If only there was a way to ensure you got exactly what you wanted precisely when you needed it. If only...

With Zephyrs the Great, your wish will always be granted… provided you have no duplicates in your deck.

Zephyrs assesses at the game situation when played, considering a wide range of things. It looks to your hand, how much mana you have access to, what the board state is, the health totals of you and your opponent, if any secrets are in play and a myriad of other factors. It then presents a selection of three basic and classic cards – be they neutral or a class card from any of the nine classes – that it thinks you’d want either right now or next turn. It often tries to provide a minion or board clear, a play for this turn and one for next turn, though that’s not always the case. If it feels you desperately need a board clear or healing, it’ll provide more of those. If it sees a way for you to win the game, it’ll offer that. One of the few things it won’t offer is a way to bounce itself back into your hand. The only caveat to getting this amazing benefit is that your deck must have no duplicate at the time Zephyrs is played, making it an ideal fit into already established highlander decks or the foundation of one which relies on Zephyrs alone.

But what if you got the power of Zephrys’s wishes whenever you wanted them as a zero mana spell? What would you do with such awesome power? Would you save it for exactly the right moment or would you use it to benefit immediately? That’s the question this brawl asks, so let’s find out if my wishes will come true or if I’ll fumble the working and get exactly what I ‘asked’ for instead.
