Edna has finally made it back to where she used to call home all those years ago. While things are just as she remembers them being, time has marched ever onward. The house has fallen into disrepair, nature slowly reclaiming it piece by piece. It may not be much and it may be full of bittersweet, painful memories, but it’s all Edna has left aside from Harvey and a burning desire to uncover the truth.

Though I can’t be certain as I’ve never played the game before, it feels like we’ve reached the endgame by making it home. That’s not to say that there won’t be lots of puzzles to solve and things to interact with, as it seems getting inside the house is going to be a challenge all its own. One thing I do think will be lacking is the silly and zany humour prevalent in the beginning of the game. The tone has most certainly shifted and while might not become as grim as they were in the church, they’ll never again be as they were at the very start, such is the natural flow and progression of the narrative.
