2In the second half of Macro Mountain, we find 4-4/Macro Mountain 4, an athletic level with extra-large mushrooms and Fuzzies. 4-5/Macro Mountain 5 goes back to the basic grassland theme that 4-1 had, but this time, we have more difficult enemies to deal with: Big Bullet Bill shooters (which shoot 32x32 bullets) and Sledge Bros. You don't exactly get a break after that, either...Morton's Castle can be rather nasty if you're not used to it. It's not too heavy on the giant things either, but what it does have are lots of Grinders (usually in cramped quarters) and Hotheads. This is not a stage that should be rushed! Morton himself isn't *too* bad...he jumps and shakes the ground, and he throws spiked balls at you that bounce along the ground. (He does have the same weird jump physics that Iggy did, though, so be wary of that.) And with that, we are officially halfway through the game!
