Let's Play Mega Man 5 - Part 7: Making Waves
With only two Robot Masters left, I decided to do Wave Man next. His stage is rather interesting, and it doesn't really rely on one gimmick like Gravity Man's did. It has pipes that you can go through, bubbles that you can stand on, and most notably, a segment on a sort of jet-ski-like craft. What Wave Man's stage doesn't have, oddly enough, is any underwater sections. The boss pretty much just does the same thing through out the fight, making a water jet shoot up from the floor randomly (I don't think he can spawn it directly under you if you stand still, but I'm not sure...?) and shooting a harpoon while jumping. His weapon, the Water Wave, is a ground-based one, creating a few jets of water that go along the floor. I guess it's okay at what it does, though I've never used ground-bound weapons much (okay, so I've never used _any_ special weapons much) and this isn't even the only one in the game.
Just one more stage to go before the fortress...!
