Well, it's time for the last world of the game! (The other New Super Mario Bros. games all had 9 worlds, but this one only has 8. No bonus worlds here.) World 8 is sort of a "dark land", with a gloomy, dingy setting. This is reflected in 8-1, which seems to be a sort of creepy outdoor level; it has ghost house music and enemies (along with Bullet Bills), including a new one. It's kind of an interesting level, since only one other level has that theme. 8-2, on the other hand, is...not all that interesting. It's an underground level with water, Skeeters, and switches that make the water level rise. That's about all I can say about it. The tower here is nothing unique either, just more moving blocks, more spikes, and another Bowser Jr. battle.
