In this episode we visit Pao again, which has conveniently shown up near our location at the end of the battle with General Elliot. Wandering about town, we happen upon a man who has a mysterious egg-hatching machine. We hand him our Domingo egg, and lo and behold: out pops Domingo, a floating jellyfish! He joins the force, and we are all the better for it; Domingo is a powerful, flying, tanky, spellcasting unit that we will make a great addition to the Force. Speaking with the townsfolk, we learn that Earnest, after watching us defeat General Elliot, has gone to storm Balbazak's fortress alone. That information is enough to compel us to head north to the fortress to reinforce Earnest, but first we must defeat the defensive ranks outside.
