Hello there, ladies and gentlemen, welcoming one and all to my latest Let's Play here that is indeed, Silent Bomber, a 'hidden gem' of sorts, as we go blasting our way through the spaceship Dante in a blaze of glory via hi-tech sci-fi demolition and all the adrenaline that comes with it!

Now, actually getting into the game proper without the dastardly distractions that is mobile gaming, (courtesy of Jay's then-brand new iPad!) we finally get into the new world we're about to enter here and, although this game too is created by the fantastic Bandai, this isn't exactly the somewhat-cutesy and charming kind of game that Digimon World was in all it's digital glory, oh no it is not!

Far from it actually, because this has a more darker tone and atmosphere to it, considering it's big military focus and how technology in the latest combat arms leads to all such horrific acts in war, (I believe Call of Duty and Battlefield touches upon this, but I often find it guilty of glorifying the act of war more so than seeing the real, brutal side of it than anything else) and thus so we begin in what is essentially the 'tutorial' here in a war-torn town that is very much not 'advanced' as far as the majority of the foes we'll be facing in the game proper!

Indeed, entering Jutah Fate, our main character whom my cousin struggled to figure out if Jutah was a he or a she, (For your information, Jutah is very much NOT of the feminine kind!) who's been tasked with his first mission here of taking out the opposition as it were, military or otherwise!

So, going through this, we (and by 'we', I suppose it's really just me playing through this as I reckoned Jay would most certainly struggle through this game like I did in my earlier years so long ago, plus it'll give me the excuse of doing my own special 'take' on it, more on this later!) go through the basics of combat, that being how to plant/throw bombs and the lovely art of detonation, truly the beautiful works of demolition at play here!

Though seeing as this is a tutorial, the first half is really just obstacles in our way and how to blow them apart with our state-of-the-art bomber(man?) firearm, maybe? Not quite sure what to call the attachment to Jutah's arm, as that is what enables him to decimate all forms of enemies and obstacles via the power of bombs which, as shown, can be imbued and empowered via special types given in large vials that are usually hidden away in containers and the likes, picking up our first in the form of Napalm Liquid, fiery fires and all!

Of course, naturally this leads into how to deal with enemies and, with the first one in the form of a flying drone (and a rather old and archaic one at that!) being so docile as to literally not fight against us and use any attack at all, makes the perfect target for getting accustomed to our new weapon at hand!

Following that came a group of four whom, unlike the first lone flying drone who just sat there, are not so hesitant in opening fire on you, but alas I got lucky here and not only managed to evade damage from these foes but also the 'boss' that came in afterwards, that being a similarly-tired and worn-out tank but alas one that is meant for combat proper! But, with our deadly bombing machine equipped, it didn't really stand much of a chance truth be told! (Though I did get 'hit' a couple times by accidentally touching the roaming tank, but mistakes are to be learned from!)

Indeed, strategy is rather lacking here to start off with, but I suppose a good tutorial makes it so you need very little knowledge or skill prowess to make it past it, rather the focus is to ease you into the game proper like it does here, so the actual challenges (and believe me when I say there WILL be a good deal of those later on in the game!) is what will be keeping me on edge!

Ah man, a shame my camera wasn't so focused on this first part here, but I managed to get it rectified by the next part, so at least the poor quality is kept to a minimum at that!

In any case, I hope you enjoyed the video and any constructive comments or criticism is appreciated!
