Let’s Play The Fall Part 2 Unbound #05: One Being, One Purpose
101This is my first playthrough through this game. Kindly avoid posting spoilers in the comments or solutions to puzzles either in this video or future ones so as not to spoil the experience for me or those that haven’t seen the game before.
So far, combat has been limited to network space where Arid has battled the virus but this is soon to change. The second robot we’ll be working with is very different to the butler and not in a good way. It may seem at first that we’re going to have far fewer problems working with this AI but the things which inhibit this one are not strict rules but a fierce desire for individuality and uniqueness.
Every thing is unique, from the largest galaxy to the tiniest particle. A very important defining feature of humanity is realisation of our uniqueness, something that we bitterly defend against those who would say we are exactly like everyone else. Our uniqueness comes about from our many myriad experiences which are themselves unique coupled with our dreams, fears, wants and desires. For the butler these concepts were alien but for this next AI they are there but also… not in a way that will make working with them a very unique challenge.
Let’s hope Arid is up to the task.
