If you remember the e-mails we’ve been reading throughout our travels, the base was sent a consignment of chainsaws in error. While the people who received them had no idea what to do, we’re not going to say no to an unorthodox addition to our stockpile of weaponry. Much like the one in the games that came before, the chainsaw is great for slicing through weaker enemies that get too close to you, though it now has a wind up time that may catch you off-guard if you’re too familiar to the one in previous instalments.

Our objective right now is to send out the communication to the fleet but the further we get into the facility, the more I’m starting to think that this may not be a good idea. There appears to be no end to the creatures and while we’ve only seen them in and around the base, imagine the mayhem they could cause if they got took control of the fleet and used that to reach Earth. If only there was some way for us to deal with this problem ourselves...
