The Avatar may be on his way to Despise but there’s a lot to see along the way. The world of Britannia is a fair bit smaller than it has been in other games but there’s still places off the well-trodden path that we can explore. Said places are surely going to be full of peril but when weren’t they in the previous games?

Enemies respawn fairly quickly provided you move about, giving you access to a limitless supply of money provided you’re willing to put the effort into getting it. Finding extra pieces of equipment to sell alongside gold is nice but the sale value of said items is very low. This is mitigated somewhat by the lack of cost involved in healing, for you can always rest in a bed to recover from damage sustained. Magic helps to lengthen the time you can go out exploring but we couldn’t use that much even if we had access to that circle of magic.
