115The fourth episode of the game loves to throw you into levels where you're instantly in peril and not a small amount of it either. On ultra violence you're in serious trouble of being killed before you've even begun the level, forcing you to immediately take in your surroundings and move to a more defensive position.
The problem with that is that you're rushing into areas potential full of enemies with nowhere save to retreat to if you can't handle them, meaning you have to carefully rush and clear out a region of the level, all the while mindful of the enemies you left behind you that very well might catch up. Fortunately the levels are still chock full of ammunition and health for you, as they're designed to be beatable if you restart it with only the pistol and 50 bullets.
And if you think we've got past the more challenging levels in the episode, let me tell you that Doom still has a few more surprises up its sleeve.
