Playing windows games on Linux using Wine :
SMiTE ( Steam Edition )

EDIT 02-03-2017 :
By the time of writing, this game is not working anymore !
It crash at load just after the splashscreen on a blackscreen.

Smite is a F2P third-person MOBA video game (Massively Online Battle Arena).

Unlike most moba's (say dota, League of Legend, Heroes of Newerth, Heroes of the Storm...) this one uses a third-person view rather than the classic top head view of the RTS-genre. Seeing the battlefield from the ground is a new and refreshing experience; and as such, the gameplay is much more based on targeting and predicting player's movement to actually hit with a projectile skill.

Other than that, the rest is just like in regular moba :
- Gain XP to level up abilities
- Gain gold to buy/upgrade items
- Respawn timer

This is my first Coop vs AI match after the tutorial, so don't judge me too much ;)

Troubleshoot:
- Launcher get stuck in updating loop
If the launcher fails to apply its update, close smite and steam
Open a terminal then :
wineserver -k
And now :
wineboot
Wait a second, don't close this terminal and open steam a game. Launch the game : the launcher should be able to update the hipatchservice.
