In order to unlock the Polyglot achievement, you must find, and kill, Argot. Argot can be found on the Basement floor, but you will need the Basement Key from the Landlord's apartment on the ground floor, as well as the Neptune Disc, which is found in the mushroom biome/area in the Basement (after getting through the Sewer).

Once you have both of these items, head to the stairwell, and take it down to the Basement. Go through the Basement door, and in the first room, go south through the door. Now, head to the disc slot by the door to the south and insert the Neptune Disc to open the door (the door needs a numeric value of 16, which is what the Neptune Disc is).

Once the door is open, head inside, walk into Argot to fight it, and once you kill it, the achievement will unlock!
