Lost Frontier | Island of Peril | No Failure Run
It occurred to me that I had missed a Strife custom map to play during my quest to play all SP Strife maps a while back, and while I could do it as usual today, something else caught my eye during that period inbetween.
Encumbrance, tactical reloads, inventory focused equipment, a sudden increase in difficulty by a significant margin, that familiar feeling of an enemy that used to be easy but now something you fear and would draw a powerful weapon to wipe. Sound familiar? If HDest was the central tactical mod for play Doom with, this'll be Strife's, and what a really good one too. Had to adapt to its mechanics for a while, but I was able to conquer the entirety of Strife's campaign with it, and now to bring that adapted skills to the realms of custom maps.
