Lumines -- Puzzle Mode, Dog x2
Whew, that was awkward last time... not just talking about myself, but talking about myself in triplicate and then having a minor feud with myselves (that's not even a word, but I'm using it, because it's appropriate... somehow?) for an unspecified duration thereafter.
Let's try to avoid that, shall we? The trouble with accosting what's essentially you but for the passage of time is that you'll just end up feeling it sooner or later yourself. (Temporal causality's a cruel mistress indeed.)

Puzzle 30: Dog x2
Okay, now THIS one I can relate to. I think this just naturally occurs because of having been hitting the tiles too hard for too long and a break would be a really good idea, but on the other hand I'm paranoid that if I stop, I'll loose whatever groove I was in and need to catch back up to speed later. But guess what? If you start thinking like that, you've already ungrooved yourself, because being unhinged to that degree will start to detrimentally affect your game anyway.
In this case, I see some impatient throwing away of pieces that aren't absolutely perfect for the part I want to fill, but definitely more than serviceable when it comes to combining them with the next piece to achieve the same desired effect. But nope, I want a very specific piece, and I'll waste a lot of time and space (the space-time continuum will feel that one in the morning, I'm sure) just to get it and only it.
The other thing that I just can't help but cringe and feel vicariously... through... uh... myself... who felt it... previously... the annoyance of having made a stupid mistake and needing to address it in some way, but in the process making a couple more hasty decisions that I'd need to dig my way out from under later as well.
Fortunately, the Dog isn't a particularly troublesome shape to create... it just requires some careful visualization to realize that it's composed of two lines from the previous puzzle and single pieces straight off the queue... with the necessity of one piece's worth of negative placeholder, which if you visualized that far with me will have already been placed as part of the Small Square's two rows.
Of course, I didn't, so it's just present-me being a jerkface with that hindsight again.
