Lumines -- Puzzle Mode, Zero to Three
So? Are we feeling at least a little more whelmed now? I mean, I don't know about anyone else, but being tasked with a large clear after some geometric figures of questionable (or at least subjective) difficulty can seem more than a bit daunting.
Along those lines, I can't help but wonder what else might be in store for us on the way through the home stretch. For instance, what about something like...

Puzzle 25: Zero to Three
Now here's a real oddity out of the bunch, and that's rather strange to say if the previous one was based on deletion over construction. It's also definitely in the running for one of the absolute hardest puzzles the game can throw at you... even the All Clear has the advantage of being fairly simple in scope and scale, even if its underlying mechanics were anything but simple.
This puzzle also happens to be a fair bit quirkier in its process than any other... although it does suggest an inkling of what's to come, should players persevere a while longer. For starters, though, the icon from the menu for this one is a tad misleading... the formation shown seems to suggest a long string of consecutive digits, but the actual goal is to build each digit in order.
Well, technically the order is just the one in which the clear line will scan for, so you can build however you want, just as long as the digits are assembled and available for scanning when the line passes by in turn for each. If you can't build the current part of the target with the piece presently in hand, you can always put down a little bit of another... just make sure you don't mess up the ones that need to be scanned first, or you'll have a heck of a mess that you might not be so able to clean up in time... if at all.
Several puzzles in the past have had potential issues with the possibility of precious space running short if you make too many mistakes and find yourself unable to restart on a clean part of the slate. In this case, there's just barely enough room to reasonably accommodate each numeral and the negative space almost certain to be required on the side. And that's assuming no mistakes are actually made.
At least there's the greatly helpful fact that the clear line doesn't care which color you're working in, even if you switch between scans.
