You can skip a lot of the Block Snake parts with Rush and I actually highly recommend that you do just that because doing the Block Snake parts cost a lot of time. That said, there actually isn't enough Rush Jet ammo to get you through the whole stage. So this stage is kind of a die roll. You want probably at least 1 or 2 large weapon energies to drop for your Rush Jet throughout the stage. The best place to get them is probably that screen where you have to wait for a Block Snake to pass by and there's a Pipi generator. Aside from there, you're just gonna have to rely on the enemies that you shoot down during the Rush Jet parts. There aren't a whole lot of them though...

Other than that, most of the stage is just holding down Flame Mixer because that blocks most things and even also instakills the Cyorowns. There is that section where there's a whole bunch of two block long Block Snakes closely packed in a circle where you have to walk forward and jump. I'm kinda inconsistent at that section, but I think it's cool. I couldn't even comprehend what to do during my casual playthrough, but even now that I know what to do, it's still a little weird to get a hang of.

Stone Man is back again. Same weakness as ever, but the Block Snake makes the fight a little scarier. You actually need to be a little careful about how far you move. But in the end, the hardest part is still switching Salt Water on and off to get hits in quicker.

This run beats the previous normal record, PineappleDerp's 3:11. I'm assuming they must've used the Block Snakes which take forever. For improvements, you might be able to CoilJet on the screen before the final long room. That cuts out having to wait to take some damage. And also, a better Stone Man is certainly possible.
