I greatly disliked running this one. Makes sense because it's so much waiting around. So this means that most of the run comes down to how good the Quick Man RNG was. And lemme tell you. One Quick Man in that arena would've been bad enough, but two is even worse. You really gotta count on them to cooperate and not get stuck in an annoying to reach spot and those tops make it really easy for them to do just that. Ugh. Just utter pain.

I guess I should talk about the parts where you can actually control what happens. During that first vertical climb, you can use some careful Concrete Shots to skip some small platforming bits. Watch out for the Shadow Mega Man near the end. For some reason, if it runs through a Concrete Shot Block, it just instantly dies for some reason. But it can't destroy multiple at a time so if you layer up on the Concrete Shots, it'll be safe.

Then the part after the second checkpoint. This is the part I remembered the most from my casual run because I was stuck at this part for a millenium. There's no good indicator for when the tops will spawn so you just have to get used to it. Also in that section, there's the part where I Concrete Shot to avoid having to wait for a second cycle of tops. Sliding from one top to another is super inconsistent and has gotten me killed a lot. And sadly, there's not really an alternative.

Then we get to the maze. I hate mazes. Thankfully, the route here is short and simple. Anything more would be too much for my small brain. My casual run in this maze was dreadful to say the least.

This run beats the previous normal record, MystSvin's 2:06.019, an improvement of 89 frames (or 1.483 seconds). I played like dogshit in this run, I'm pretty sure. I bonked my head on a ceiling at one point. I messed up a Concrete Shot part which cost me the ability to make it to a top. But it doesn't matter because my Quick Man Duo went okay. I've had much better runs, but they all died at Quick Man Duo. For further improvements, I think in the third screen after the second checkpoint, the one with all the blocks, you can actually make it to that first top. But it's incredibly tight and I've only managed it once. Then for the screen where you have to make a really tight jump to a really fast top, I think you can maybe get to the top on an earlier cycle than I do. But again, it seems to be very precise. I tried some stuff with Concrete Shot there, but it didn't go too well. But all of this doesn't matter if your Quick Man Duo RNG isn't good so good luck.
