After the dreaded Flower Cup, well it was because of Toad's Turnpike, I now do the Star Cup on Extra Mode, and this will be a lot harder than on 150cc, as the courses are mirrored. The tracks for this one are Wario Stadium, Sherbet Land, Royal Raceway, and Bowser's Castle. I did consider visiting Peach's Castle on Royal Raceway in Extra, because I don't think I have seen any YouTube videos where the castle is visited while the track is mirrored.
I pick Yoshi for this one, and I find him to be an easy character to use on a very hard difficulty, the Star Cup does have some good courses, like Wario Stadium, but I do not like racing on Bowser's Castle in any of the higher speed classes, because Red Shells work poorly in this game, they aim for the player instead of follow the track, and the nice thing is there are two Thwomps, because on 150cc, there were three Thwomps. Out of the courses that I do not like racing on, my least favourite courses are Toad's Turnpike on Extra, and Bowser's Castle on 150cc, the Special Cup is up next, and that will be the final video for Mario Kart 64, and on Extra Mode, that will be even more difficult than the Star Cup had.
