0It is the start of the Holiday Festivities event, this is a limited time event that adds a new stage, it is Snowball Battle at Shivre City, and the most notable wild Pokémon in that stage is Delibird, when you defeat a Delibird, you can pick up presents, which contain Battle Items, which can only be used once, and you turn into a Snowman when you are defeated, and after a short time, the Snowman melts, and all you can do during Snowman form is Jump, Cheer, Wave, or Thumbs Up.
As for this video, I play as Alolan Ninetales for this one, I wanted to play as one of the new Holowear costumes added during this event, like the new Premium Holowear for Pikachu, only to find out it costs Gems, this is a downside to players that like to play this game for free, well aside from Battle Pass rewards. I will list the other players in this match.

You don't enter with Battle Items, like the Eject Button or any others, instead you have to fight Delibird and pick up the presents after defeating them. The following Battle Items you can pick up are the Goal Zone Booster, which increases the shield and HP recovery of a goal zone for a short time. The Gravity Smoke decreases the movement speed of opposing Pokémon. Magnet Puller can be used to pull in opposing Pokémon and decrease their movement speed, Pokémon Propeller pushes the user forward rapidly, knocking the opponent away. Recovery Bomb creates a small area that heals ally Pokémon and melts any Snowmen, and pushes away opponents. Repositioner switches positions with an opponent, lowering their movement speed, Returning Smoke sends opposing Pokémon back to the base if it hits, Snowball, as its name suggests, has the user turn into a snowball and roll over opposing Pokémon, dealing damage when it hits, and Unite Ball Charger increases the goal-scoring speed and increases the user's movement speed.
I went with Alolan Ninetales for this video, as I wanted to use an Ice-type of some sort, and I wanted to try out Dazzling Gleam and Aurora Veil, which is the combination that I rarely ever use, I tend to use Blizzard and Avalanche whenever I play as Alolan Ninetales in this game.
They did add some new Holowear for some Pokémon, we got new Premium Holowear for Pikachu and Crustle, and some new Holowear are the Chef's Outfit for Snorlax, Mr. Mime, and Cramorant, and the Holiday Style, which is a Christmas Hat, and the following Pokémon that got that new Holowear are Blastoise, Gardevoir, Garchomp, and Mamoswine, and they announced the next Pokémon that will be playable in the game, and that Pokémon is Dragonite, and it also got a new Holowear which is the Holiday Style.
As for Snowball Battle at Shivre City, Articuno replaces Avalugg, who normally appears in the middle of Shivre City, and when you defeat Articuno, this will allow you to score instant goals on the opponent's side of the field, so it's like how Articuno works on Remoat Stadium (Snow and Ice), and Electrode does not appear, Delibird likely takes over that role, but at least you don't have to deal with Electrode blowing up if you don't defeat it quickly.
