Mario Kart 8 - Aug 25 15 A
10I saw way too much DLC courses on my last run in Mario Kart 8, so this time, I went to a non-DLC room. It seems there are a lot of people in them, so there's still a lot of hope yet. It was pretty refreshing to play courses I hardly ever played in the both-DLC rooms.
Say, anyone think there'll be a Splatoon course with an Inkling added to the roster? Obviously, such a course would not have underwater portions, but now that brings into question of how this Inkling can survive underwater. (I guess the same way Mario can hold his breath indefinitely.)

Race #1
Twisted Mansion
Being in the back sucks. Not only because you're far away from the lead, but usually, the pack is really close together there and is a warzone! It'll be more pronounced later, and it's pretty localized to the beginning of this race though. After that, just watch me climb up the ladder undisturbed. It almost made me take Twisted Mansion off the list of cursed courses for me.
Race #2
Electrodrome
This is a stage I saw a lot of that I don't see much anymore. Is it because it doesn't really use the discotheque theme much in the course itself, just the surroundings? Come to think of it, this course probably would've been mindblowing showing it to someone from the Nintendo 64 era. By the way, did you notice the top four finishers were all motion control users?

Sweet Sweet Canyon
At first, I thought people were battering me like crazy because I was using a DLC character in a non-DLC room, but I noticed someone using Link in this room too. Someone else must've grown tired of the DLC courses too. Sweet Sweet Canyon is still another one of my cursed tracks, but it won't stop me from selecting it when it comes up.

Toad Harbor/Toad Harbour
This race ends in a very Mario Kart way. Trust me, you'll love it.
