Dot Arcade - Dodge Club
17Thank you for your interest in the Dot Arcade™ TV graphics game application! In Dot Arcade™, you may enjoy three great TV game programs:
• "Mr. Snake"

As this is the second in the series of YouTube Video Sequences out of three, the game program featured is "Dodge Club." To ensure maximum enjoyment of this game program, please read this Description.
In "Dodge Club," put on a show as you guide your dancer around the red-hot disco floor of danger! Your dancer will have to evade not only a bolt of lightning dashing around the perimeter of the dance floor, but also a large fireball that bounces back and forth! Are you up to the task?
When the game begins, identify the dancer (1) (yellow dots in a 2x2 square). Use the Cross-Pad or the Joystick located on the Wii U™ GamePad to move her left, right, up, or down around the dance floor. For every 1.5 seconds she safely remains on the dance floor, you will gain 1 point. As she moves about, the electrified region (2) (green dots) will move clockwise around the perimeter of the playfield, and the fireball (3) (yellow and red dots in a 2x2 square) will move about. If the dancer touches either of those hazards, she will be toast, and your game ends!
TIP #1: The fireball will travel only in straight lines. Use this knowledge to keep that fireball away!
TIP #2: The beat will sound slightly different once your score hits a multiple of 5. Listen to that beat to better keep track of your score!
TIP #3: The fireball will recognize good dancing--once your score reaches 25, the fireball will start traveling in your dancer's direction each time it hits a wall! However, if you are savvy, you may find a way to cheat even this...
TIP #4: Hold down any Shoulder Button on the Wii U™ GamePad during the Main Menu to swap out the Pillarbox Decals! If you prefer "Dodge Club" with another artist's style, then this tip is for you!
Dot Arcade™ features a Score Memory System that keeps track of all of your highest scores for all three game programs. The Score Memory System eliminates the need to write down on paper whenever you achieve a high score. It even retains those scores when the Wii U™ shuts down!
