Mavericks 3: Zero's Revenge is the third in a series of three (soon to be four I believe) rpg fangames created by Sigmav set in the Megaman X universe.

Simplistic enough level here, but there's one thing of significance to mention. After entering the base for the first time, you may notice a pair of purple blocks sealing off a portion of the level. These will disappear, but not for a couple of levels yet.

In any case, the main mode of transportation around this level is the teleporter to different sectors. Going to Sector C first leads to a battlefield with a hidden reploid in the room behind it. Clearing out the battlefield provides another 5k metals for the pile.

Upon reaching Sector B, you'll find two more teleporters you can take. The one on the west side leads to Sectors 1 & 2 while the east one leads to Sectors 3 & 4. There's a short area to explore in each sector, culminating in a switch to hit at the end. Hitting all four switches disables some lasers in Sector B.

Nothing else to mention aside from the two bosses here.

First up, the mini boss goes back to the oh so lovely mantra of "all attacks must hit all enemies" type of deal. It can spit purple clouds for 450 damage or mini mecha flies for 500 damage.

As for the main boss, Dark Dizzy, he's slightly easier than the mid boss. While he has a pair of attacks that hit everyone (Bat summon for 400 damage, dark energy getting tossed at the party for 500 damage), he also has a single target skill, Dark Crash, meaning slightly less time spent spamming heals overall. Glow Laser & Mega Blast him into oblivion.

Dark Flash is the reward here, hitting all targets while being effective on multiple enemies. The multiple part is a bit misleading since it most certainly isn't multiple enemies...or I'm just finding all the enemies it's NOT effective on, heh. Probably for the best, considering it can also inflict paralysis. Its WE cost is 45.

Only one maverick remains now.
