Mavericks 3: Zero's Revenge is the third in a series of three (soon to be four I believe) rpg fangames created by Sigmav set in the Megaman X universe.

Next stage to clear out is pretty simple. More instant death traps in the form of spikes that rise & fall, but you can air dash past them fairly easily for the most part.

As for the battlefield in this level, it's up the ladder to your right at the second save point. Just air dash past the reploid and be very careful of the spike ceilings here. One minor lapse in concentration and you're likely going to see that game over screen.

Anyways, clear out 10 battles in the battlefield and you'll get 5k metals for your trouble.

That's the only thing of significance in this stage before getting to the main boss.

Metal Shark Player, like Izzy Glow, has an entire arsenal of attacks that hit everyone. However, none hit any harder than Izzy Glow's highest damaging moves. They are as follows:

Anchor Tossing - 250
Wood Man - 280
Hard Man - 300
Axle the Red - 350

As a result of the damage not going any higher compared to the last boss fight, keeping X & Zero alive is a fair bit easier. The only reason this fight takes so long is that I don't have an effective damage skill like Gemini Laser. Storm Tornado is the best X & Zero can use here while Fefnir is being his usual Ground Blast spamming self.

Shark Hook is the new skill reward and it hits a single target while being effective on electric enemies. Costs 35 WE to use.
