The results of the original continue glitch in Chapter 10.

0:00 - Chapter 10-3. (Upon first loading the game, you get a very long loading screen, followed up by retry / quit screen.) After retry, the Checkpoint begins like normal, except the lighting is subtly different and Max lacks a gun. You can't win this set piece without a gun, so you get stuck here.

0:42 - Chapter 10-4. (Upon first loading the game, you get a very long loading screen, followed up by retry / quit screen.) After retry, the Checkpoint begins like normal, except the lighting is subtly different and Max lacks a gun. You can still win this fight if you have infinite painkillers on, allowing you to check out the lighting differences more closely. You can tell the glitch is active if the characters' outlines and sweat glisten a bit more than usual. Some town lights in the distance also cause the black bar effect, and it even shows up during the post-fight cutscene. It looks like the lighting becomes fixed after reaching the next Checkpoint.

2:25 - Chapter 10-5. (Upon first loading the game, you get a very long loading screen, followed up by retry / quit screen.) After retry, the Checkpoint begins like normal, except the lighting is subtly different and Max lacks a gun. You can still win this fight if you have infinite painkillers on, but there are seemingly no extra effects as you go on.

2:47 - Chapter 10-6. (Upon first loading the game, you get a very long loading screen, followed up by retry / quit screen.) After retry, the level seems to load extra slowly as Max is somewhere out of bounds falling to his death. The same happens every time you retry afterwards.

3:25 - Chapter 10-7. (Upon first loading the game, you get a very long loading screen, followed up by retry / quit screen.) After retry, the level seems to load extra slowly as Max is somewhere out of bounds falling to his death. The same happens every time you retry afterwards.

(Not on the vid: Chapter 10-8. Upon first loading the game, you get a very long loading screen, followed up by retry / quit screen. After retry, you get another long loading screen, followed up another retry / quite screen. Every retry yields the same result.)

3:45 - Chapter 10-9. (Upon first loading the game, you get a very long loading screen, followed up by retry / quit screen.) After retry, the level seems to load extra slowly, which looks trippy. Aside that, lighting is glitched up and Max lacks a gun. It's possible to play onward in the level, and the lighting becomes fixed after shooting the thug in Chapter 10-10.

5:02 - Chapter 10-10. (Upon first loading the game, you get a very long loading screen, followed up by retry / quit screen.) After retry, the level seems to load extra slowly, which looks trippy. Aside that, lighting is glitched up and Max lacks a gun.

5:20 - The set piece is unwinnable like this, so I tried using intro stretch to see if you can win it with melee attacks. But that just causes Max to start whacking air in a loop, i.e. the glitched melee reaction.

5:58 - Chapter 10-11. The driving section begins with a subtly different lighting, and you can see those black bar effects in the distance. The glitched lighting only seems to last until the end of the Checkpoint, at most.

7:40 - Chapter 10-12. The set piece begins with a subtly different lighting, and you can see those black bar effects in the distance. Max also doesn't have a gun, and is screwed that way. You can't win the set piece like this; however, retrying fixes things and gives Max a gun.
