Battlefield 3 (PS3) - level streaming exploit
13This could be huge. It seems one type of level trigger in this game is a bit buggy. It will buffer all your activations. Hence, if you activate it repeatedly, the game will then proceed to load and unload a part of the level many times in a row.
What's the use? Well, you have plenty of time to run out of bounds while the level is stuck in a loop of loading and unloading!
I've only tried this trick in Operation: Swordbreaker for now, and have seen it working in three of the level's sub-maps so far. But it doesn't work with absolutely every loading trigger - I've also seen a couple of situations where it didn't work. Research is still underway, but it's likely that this trick will enable new OoB spots all around the game.
Not sure how well this trick works on PC, since the loading times will be much faster. EDIT: Chimpaneez tried it out on PC, but PC generally loads so much faster that this trick won't come in handy there.
The trick seems especially promising since it might work in other Frostbite games too! Try it out if you want.
