Just Cause 2 - incidental glitches (and some observations)
Nothing to get too excited about - just some random mishaps, glitches and the occasional "fail" moment from my playthrough of Just Cause 2. It was quite an entertaining game, even though it got repetitive.
0:00 - enemy dies in a cramped space and ends up inside floor.
0:18 - I clip into OoB while grappling up a building.
0:42 - I misunderstood what the game wanted me to do and jumped off a sniping tower instead of acting as a sniper. The landing looked quite glitchy, though.
1:00 - I try to do a small jump to the lower pathway, but the game's freefall mechanic kicks in at the worst of times, sending Rico to a whole different direction to faceplant in an embarrassing way.
1:16 - vehicles being driven by A.I. tend to get stuck somewhere often, here's one example.
1:33 - I wired a swimming enemy, causing him to start spazzing out for a moment.
1:45 - some enemies are having a relaxing daily walk into a fence.
2:08 - another stuck NPC vehicle. Even when I highjack the car and helpfully back it away from the corner it was stuck in, the NPCs just drive in there again.
3:05 - Rico ended up inside floor in a painful looking way. Grappling repeatedly let him get out of there.
3:45 - a particularly humiliating landing.
4:02 - a mysterious levitating piece of level geometry.
4:38 - Just Cause 2's lesson in base jumping: as long as you open your parachute 5 feet off the ground, you'll come away unscathed.
5:02 - another instance of a freefall kicking in at an unwelcome time. A random branch slaps Rico in the face, killing him unexpectedly while I was just trying to wire my way around the forest.
5:15 - a worker riding a scooter gets stuck on these inconsiderately placed ammo chests.
5:42 - I ordered a Grenade Launcher, and the delivery was dropped right in the nearby lake. Too bad it's not possible to pick up weapons or ammo while in water. ...Can I get a refund?
6:30 - damn bad luck during a stronghold take over.
