A lot of love went into this one. Mega Man X is my favorite video game of all time and I wanted to do it justice. I stuck with the punchy mid sound for the Musicman since I thought it sounded good with the groove. I've taken some of the feedback on my drums and tried to get a little bit more oomph out of the kick without drowning everything out. It's not quite metal, but I think it worked out alright.

I debated for a bit on whether or not to put guitar in, but I decided against it since as the drums were coming together the song was taking a more "groovy" turn that I thought favored the bass way more. Anyone who follows my twitter knows that this was a little outside of my skill level at first. All of the ideas worked, but it took a lot of long practice hours to get the organ and lead bass down. I'll be honest, I genuinely feel like a better player coming out of this than I was going into it. Progress is cool like that.

For the video itself, I did a little research. I record my videos on my phone since its the best quality I can get, but my resolution and frame rate were... suboptimal. So I fixed that. The RGB lights were something I've been meaning to add for far too long so I'm glad I was able to add those in as well. Proper lighting adds a lot to a performance y'know? There are still things I'm trying to implement better but all in all, I couldn't be happier with how this came out. I hope you all like it.
