Part III of my X5 boss rush.
Individual Boss Comments:

Shadow Devil - Most people seem to believe this boss is totally random, but this just isn't the case; like any Devil, he follows very specific patterns, it's all just a matter of learning them. Now you might question why I jump over his orbs instead of just crouching. The answer to that is crouching makes the battle even more boring that it already is. Most of the Devil's attacks speak for themselves, with the exception of one. The Devil can split his body across either side of the room, and have the two sides attack you in a pincer. If he lances them symmetrically, then it's not much more trouble than any other attack he has. If he lances them asymmetrically however... then you're not gonna have a good time. This is bar none the hardest attack to dodge in the game, so thank the good fucking lord I don't encounter it in this successful run. Didn't stop it from ending plenty of other attempts.

Rangda Bangda W - This guy certainly got meaner inbetween games. Most of Rangda's tricks are nasty, but two stand out more than others. His three eyes are ascending in difficulty; the blue one's a joke, the green one's a bit annoying, and the red one is one of the most difficult to dodge attacks without upgrades. It demands both incredible timing and positioning, which would be fine, if the fucking projectile wasn't tailing you all the while you're trying to position yourself. Other than that, Rangda has a nasty variation on one of his attacks. After a while, he will begin sprouting spikes from the walls while the nose aimlessly wanders around, and while this is usually a non-issue, he can also sprout spikes from the tops of the two walls, and this fucking sucks. It requires that X bounce off the walls in an incredibly precise manner, which isn't easy. Not by itself and especially not while the nose is fucking around in the tight space.

Awakened Zero - Still fucking cool

Sigma - Okay, so Sigma is a bit of a dick in this game and I've got a bit of a mouthful as to why. As per usual, his form form isn't much to talk about. He may be fast, but he's also very predictable and most of what he does will never catch you off guard. The one problematic attack he does have is when he surrounds himself with the three virus heads, which not only makes getting shots on him hard, but also cuts off much of your dodging room. His second form pulls out all the stops. Everything this asshole throws at you is a pain in some way. The hands may seem innocent enough, but don't be fooled; these things are erratic bastards and will move in patterns that makes getting hit all too easy. The worst is when it decides to fire a projectile while you're standing on, which makes damage unavoidable. The one attack he doesn't show off is the lightning claws, and walking through this attack is the definition of nerve wracking. It doesn't help when the stupid jackass decides to stop the hand short, which makes walking into the lightning a near inevitability. His orbs are sort of your safe time where you can collect damage on him, but if you time it wrong, they can catch you easily. Then of course, there's the fucking purple cubes. These things are one of the hardest attacks to dodge in the game, and that's primarily because of the way with which they materialize. The timing is incredibly fucking bizarre, just dashing around the room without knowing the timing is gonna get you hit HARD, and this can also cause the cubes to appear in places where dodging them is near impossible. When the bastard uses the cubes multiple times in a row, things become even crazier.

And we're not even at the worst of it. But I'll save that for X6. Hope you guys enjoy this one, and take care.
