Alrighty, here goes an important stage for a couple reasons.

First, the enemies. While everything's weak to Lightning Web, the problem, as I mentioned last video, is that the damage isn't going to be enough on its own to reliably slay everything in a reasonable amount of time, hence the reason I picked up that X-Missile MkIII before going in. Usual strategy is to have Zero open up with Lightning Web, then have X choose a target to delete via X-Missile MkIII. Bonus points if only one target doesn't get paralyzed as that means I'm not taking any damage that battle.

As for the important things in this level, there's two of them. First, you may notice Alia making mention of a special object to keep an eye out for. When you hit a save point with a security laser in front of you, you're forced to go up a ladder into a room with...Dynamo? Yup!

That special object Alia mentioned is what the two Mettaurs are holding. Dynamo instructs them to take it to the shuttle base. That security laser blocking off a teleporter in there? It'll be disabled after this stage is over with so we're going back there.

First thing's first...Dynamo basically reminds us all that, hey, we're still stuck in the time machine zone and that there's a great evil heading towards earth in the future (I'm still banking on it being a resurrected Lumine somehow, heh). Not long after that, he attacks. Nothing dangerous damage wise, just attack him with his weakness, Ice Wave (took me a bit to figure this one out), and heal as needed.

After the battle (which gives no exp or zenny, thanks Dynamo!), he escapes, mostly likely to be seen again in the final game (or hell, even Mavericks 3. You never know with that guy).

His defeat removes two security lasers in the stage. One leads on towards Cyber Peacock, but the other? Back in the first big room, there's exits either in the northwest or east central parts of the room leading to the room above it. Behind the disabled security laser there is the door needing the Green Bolt. Behind it is a piece of the Ultimate X Armor, but understandably, only X can collect said pieces and I'm running with Zero at present. I'll just have to swing by here after the next maverick falls.

Anyways...Cyber Peacock's more of the same really. Damage, no status trickery, the works. He does the get the first turn before either of my characters gets one though which is something. Lightning Web's his weakness, but due to its chance to miss, I just have X stick with what works, namely X-Missile MkIII.

After Cyber Peacock eats the final hit, he mentions that someone informed him that he was going to destroy "you". This person allegedly came from the future. This raises two questions...first, who was he talking about by "you"? Considering Iris's actions at the start of the game, he could very well have been talking about X which was doomed to fail from the get go.

Still, who's this person from the future? Could Sigma have potentially traveled there somehow after his defeat in the previous game...or is there another entity involved in this game? Who knows!

Anyways, skill reward is Aiming Laser. Hits all enemies, effective on web types, costs 70 WE.

While Stone Man's going to be next maverick wise, the duo's going to hoof it back to the shuttle base to see if they can snatch up that object the Mettaurs were shuffling off with.
