Battle with Ridley Retinz at 1:08; room with obnoxious jumps at 3:59; display of how the game handles Starship access at this point at 18:25; Gold Space Pirate hit detection glitch at 19:15

I'm honestly wishing the Core-X phase could have lasted a full minute just so that I could have inserted the theme of Mr. Reus from Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice in a way that would match with how long it plays for the Breakdown of Roger Retinz. It sadly lasted only 30 seconds, definitely not long enough to help with Catharsis Factor against (Neo) Ridley Retinz.

If you don't get it, Ridley Retinz is a cheater, even worse than Yakuza Elion, and it's to the point where I think he's the worst boss in the game other than Barrier Core-X, who even then is still that only by a rather low margin at this point. People joked how Ridley Retinz would never get into Super Bash Sisters because he was "too big", and how funny how that's the problem here, because it combines with Ridley's speed and obnoxious habit of flying low while being too close to you for you to reasonably evade. You have to do A LOT of baiting against him, and this includes jumping, which you can still be locked out of doing anyway. There are enough ways for Ridley Ridley to be flying low AND close enough while not about to fly up, at which point dodging is literally impossible. This is WITHOUT the fireballs that Ridley Retinz also spews out every so often, and by the way, the fireballs have some obnoxious homing involved. I am honestly shocked that this took only 7 recording attempts, not counting the practice stream I recently did that displays this entire mess. Really, I swear the only reason I get past this is because of Ridley Retinz being fragile enough that good luck doesn't get the chance to be attenuated.

Even worse, Ridley Retinz's flying around is guaranteed for as long as he doesn't take stun, which brings up its own issues. To inflict the stun, you have to damage Ridley enough, and it seems to be based on hard HP thresholds, though I am not sure and would wish for somebody to clarify to me. Maximizing the frequency of this requires making sure that charged shots are going through Ridley Retinz for as long as possible, and the charged shots will also immediately die out if they hit Ridley Retinz's tail. Oh, but this is just the start. The reason to inflict stun is because Ridley Retinz *MAY* choose his tail attack mode over his flying around mode. The telegraph for if he does this is SUBTLE, more than what I can properly describe, and certainly enough of a problem why you'd want to make sure you inflict the stun when Ridley Retinz is high up to provide dodging room. Oh, and when Ridley Retinz does choose his tail attack mode? He will go for his skewer if you're in front of him, or his pogoing if you're behind him instead. You generally want his pogoing, which by far is the most fair aspect of the entire fight, and even that can be sketchy when you won't be able to slip past it if there isn't much room behind Ridley Retinz.

You can jump in the highest portion of the room and Ridley Retinz won't catch you so easily there while you look for an opportunity to escape, but you'd have to do picky enough Space Jumping to escape, and this tends to invite him to cancel his tail attack mode anyway.

Just....Ridley Retinz should have been slower by enough, to where that flying low wouldn't have been so cheap and the whole thing would have become tolerable even with the spite fireballs. Instead, we're left with this mess, so I'm splitting the actual run into two AGAIN because there's also a room a minute or so after that has some convenient jumping issues with the Screw Attack, obtained after beating Ridley Retinz.

At least this entire run is almost over. Next part.
