One minute review of Metroid Zero Mission:
This is the remake of the original Metroid, perfect place to start the series as it contains many quality of life improvements that help the players without holding their hands. The mission of Samus Aran is to kill all Metroid life forms on planet Zebes, the story is only told visually but it makes a very solid impact. The gameplay is snappy and precise for both movement and combat. The level design of this 2D open world is almost impeccable as it guides the player implicitly without too many cryptic guesses to make. The power suit gets many upgrades that unlock actual gameplay mechanics for both combat and traversal and as you progress you really feel like an unstoppable space lady. Zebes has an imposing and immersive atmosphere that makes you feel unwelcomed, and this game is a very unique experience that you can't miss out on.
